Accident Overview
On December 12, 2009, at 0800 Eastern Standard Time, an experimental amateur-built Harmut Huber Express, registration N93HE, operated by a private individual, crashed into the water during short final approach to Chub Cay Airport (MYBC) in the Berry Island chain of the Bahamas. The pilot sustained fatal injuries, and the aircraft was substantially damaged.
