Accident Overview
On April 27, 2010, at approximately 1845 Universal Coordinated Time (UTC), an Air Tractor AT-802 agricultural aircraft, registered in Brazil as PR-EBM, was destroyed after an in-flight loss of control and subsequent impact with terrain. The accident occurred at Resende Airport in Resende, Brazil. The aircraft was operated by the Corpo de Bombeiros Militar do Rio de Janeiro (Rio de Janeiro State Military Fire Department).
Fatalities
The pilot and one passenger were killed in the accident. No other occupants have been reported.
