What happened

On September 30, 2010, at 0825 UTC, a Cessna 680, registration G-CJCC, operated by Bookajet Limited, departed Luton Airport (EGGW) bound for Milas-Bodrum Airport (LTFE) in Turkey. Approximately 20 minutes into the flight, the crew identified a fault in the left main bus electrical system. Following standard checklists, the crew decided to return to Luton.

Upon landing at EGGW, the crew discovered a significant fuel imbalance. The left main fuel tank contained 5,500 pounds of fuel, while the right fuel tank contained 3,300 pounds. There were no injuries resulting from this incident.
