What happened
On June 23, 2011, at 1020 UTC, a Hitchcock Christen Eagle II, registration N21H, was involved in a fatal accident at Tabing Airfield in Padang, West Sumatera, Indonesia. The aircraft, operated by Royal Selangor Flying Club, was performing an aerobatic maneuver when it collided with the terrain. The accident resulted in 1 fatality and the aircraft sustained substantial damage. At the time of the accident, weather conditions were reported as Visual Meteorological Conditions (VMC).
