What happened
On October 4, 2011, at approximately 1730 UTC, a Cessna 208B aircraft, registration C-GATV, crashed into terrain covered with trees near Utsigi Point, Northwest Territories, Canada. The flight, operated by Air Tindi, LTD, was traveling from Yellowknife to Lutselk'e, Northwest Territories.
At the time of the accident, the area was experiencing instrument meteorological conditions. The impact resulted in 2 fatal injuries and 2 serious injuries among the four occupants on board.
