Accident Details
On May 13, 2012, at approximately 2030 local time (May 14, 2012, about 0030 coordinated universal time), a Cessna T210M aircraft, bearing Mexican registration XB-MPL, was substantially damaged when it impacted terrain in Manabí Province, Ecuador. The pilot and passenger, both of unknown nationality, sustained fatal injuries. The origin of the flight was not known, and the airplane was not in contact with Ecuadorian authorities prior to the accident.
