What happened
On August 24, 2012, at 0551 UTC, a Piper PA-31-350 operated by PT. Intan Angkasa Air Service collided with Mt. Tundung Mayang near Bontang, Indonesia. The aircraft, registration PK-IWH, struck the mountain at an elevation of 1,300 feet. The accident resulted in 4 fatal injuries, involving the pilot and three passengers. The aircraft sustained substantial damage.
