What happened
On August 24, 2012, at approximately 20:30 EDT, a Cessna 172S bearing registration C-FNET struck terrain near Moorefield, Ontario. The aircraft, operated by the Waterloo - Wellington Flight Center, had departed from the Kitchener/Waterloo Airport for a local personal flight.
The impact resulted in substantial damage to the aircraft. The pilot and three passengers sustained 4 fatal injuries.
