What happened
On September 9, 2012, at 2000 UTC, a Cessna 172N, registration N1009F, was involved in an accident in the Acreúna Municipality, State of Goiás, Brazil. The aircraft was being used to conduct scenic flights in the area when the pilot lost control of the aircraft following takeoff. The subsequent impact with the ground destroyed the aircraft. There were 4 fatal injuries involving the pilot and three passengers.
