Accident Details
On November 1, 2012, at 1950 UTC, an Embraer EMB-810D (Piper Design PA-34-220T), Brazilian registration PT-VRV, operated by a private owner, was substantially damaged following an encounter with weather and a collision with terrain. The accident occurred near Chapada dos Guimaraes, State of Mato Grosso, Brazil. The flight originated from Confresa, Brazil (SJHG) and was destined for Cuiaba, Brazil (SBCY). Two crewmembers and two passengers were fatally injured.
