Accident Overview
On February 12, 2013, at approximately 1414 Universal Time Coordinated, a Cessna 172S aircraft with Turkish registration TC-CDA, operated by the Turkish Aeronautical Association, impacted terrain during an instructional flight near Mersin, Turkey. The flight instructor sustained fatal injuries, while the student pilot was seriously injured.
