What happened

On May 6, 2013, a Bombardier CL-600-2B19, operated by J-Air, experienced an engine fire while taxiing at Osaka International Airport (RJOO). Following the aircraft's landing, the fire warning for the No. 2 (right) engine activated. The flight crew responded by shutting down the engine and discharging a fire suppression bottle.

The aircraft JA206J was subsequently taxied to the gate. There were no injuries resulting from the event.
