Accident Details

On May 13, 2013, at approximately 0015 Eastern Daylight Time, a Sikorsky S-76A helicopter, registration C-GIMY, impacted terrain after departing Moosonee Airport (CYMO) in Moosonee, Ontario. The helicopter was operated as a medical transport flight. On board were two pilots and two medical crew members, all of whom sustained fatal injuries in the accident.
