What happened
On June 1, 2013, at 12:15 UTC, a SAAB 91C (Safir), registration SE-KVZ, collided with terrain shortly after departing from Söderhamn Airport (ESNY) near Söderhamn, Sweden. The aircraft was being operated by F15 Flygklubb for a local airshow flight. At the time of the accident, weather conditions were characterized by day visual meteorological conditions (VMC).
Following the impact, a post-impact fire occurred, which destroyed the airplane. The pilot sustained 1 fatal injury.
