What happened
On August 4, 2013, at approximately 2230 UTC, an Embraer 711ST (Piper PA-28RT-201T), registered as PT-RHI, was involved in a fatal accident in Paragominas, Brazil. The aircraft, which was being operated by a private individual, was performing a personal flight from Aeroporto Fazenda Nova Conceicao (SNZU) in Tome Acu, Brazil.
While on approach to the Aeroporto de Paragominas (SNEB), the aircraft impacted the terrain, resulting in substantial damage to the airframe. The pilot, who was the sole occupant of the aircraft, sustained 1 fatal injury.
