What happened
On September 9, 2013, at approximately 1845 Mountain standard time, a Messerschmitt-Bolkow-Blohm BO105-S helicopter, registered as C-GCFU, crashed into the ocean near McClure Strait, Canada. The aircraft was operated by the Government of Canada, Department of Transport, as part of the Canadian Coast Guard. The crash resulted in 3 fatal injuries for the crew members on board.
