Accident Details
On August 23, 2014, the airplane departed from Furstenzell Bei Pa Airport (EDMF), near Furstenzell, Germany, with a planned destination of Welzow Airport (EDCY), near Welzow, Germany. During the flight, the aircraft collided with wooded terrain within Šumava National Park, near Modrava, Czech Republic. The impact caused substantial damage to the airframe. The pilot, who was the sole occupant, sustained fatal injuries.
