Accident Details
On September 14, 2014, at approximately 1520 coordinated universal time, a Beech BE-300-LW aircraft, bearing Argentine registration LV-WLT, was destroyed when it struck two houses and then terrain during the initial approach phase in instrument meteorological conditions to Jorge Newbery Airport (SABE) in Buenos Aires, Argentina. A postcrash fire ensued. The pilot and the sole passenger were fatally injured. The flight was conducted as a personal operation under Argentine flight regulations.
