What happened
On September 14, 2014, at approximately 1520 UTC, a Beech BE-300-LW, registration LV-WLT, was performing an initial approach to Jorge Newbery Airport (SABE) in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The flight was operating under instrument meteorological conditions (IMC). During the approach, the aircraft struck two houses and subsequently impacted the terrain. A fire occurred following the crash. The flight originated from Estancia La Nueva Airstrip, Buenos Aires.
There were 2 fatalities resulting from the accident; the pilot and the passenger were both killed.
