What happened
On January 10, 2015, at approximately 21:05 UTC, an Embraer EMB-710C, registered as PT-NAB, was involved in an accident in Luziania, Brazil. The aircraft was performing a local personal flight under Brazilian flight regulations when it experienced a loss of engine power during the initial climb phase following takeoff from Luziania Airport (SWUZ).
Following the loss of power, the aircraft impacted a residence, resulting in substantial damage to the plane. The accident resulted in 2 fatalities and 2 serious injuries. The occupants included the pilot, a copilot, and two passengers. At the time of the accident, visual meteorological conditions (VMC) were prevailing.
