Event Details
On July 25, 2015, at 1745 coordinated universal time (UTC), an amateur-built Bede BD-5G aircraft made a forced landing near Garranbane, Ireland. During the forced landing, a fire broke out and subsequently destroyed the aircraft. The pilot, who was the only person on board, suffered fatal injuries. The flight had departed Waterford Airport (EIWF) and was en route to Shannon Airport (EINN).
