What happened
On August 5, 2015, at approximately 0840 UTC, a Kitfox Series 7 aircraft, registered as HB-YMG, crashed into a forested area near Hundwil-Appenzell, Switzerland. The flight originated from Lommis Airfield (LSZT).
The impact resulted in 2 fatalities (the pilot and the passenger) and the total destruction of the airplane. At the time of the accident, weather conditions were characterized by visual meteorological conditions.
