Accident
On December 6, 2015, at approximately 1400 UTC, an Embraer EMB-720D aircraft, bearing Brazilian registration PT-VNC, was destroyed after colliding with trees in Trindade, Brazil. The aircraft was on approach to Aerodromo Nacional Aviacao (SWNV) in Goiania. The flight, operated by a private individual, had originated from Palmeiras de Goias Airport (SWGP) in Palmeiras de Goias. The pilot, who held a foreign certificate, and two passengers sustained fatal injuries. The flight was conducted under Brazilian flight regulations.
Investigation
The investigation into the accident is under the jurisdiction of the Government of Brazil, specifically the Aeronautical Accident Prevention and Investigation Center (CENIPA).
