On December 24, 2015, a Socata TB9 aircraft, registration EC-LIQ, was involved in an accident in Malaga, Spain. The accident resulted in 2 fatalities.
Under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13, the NTSB appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the Spanish investigation authority, the Comisión De Investigación De Accidentes E Incidentes De Aviación Civil (CIAIAC).
