Accident Overview
On February 27, 2016, at approximately 0610 coordinated universal time (UTC), a Zlin Z242L aircraft, bearing Hong Kong registration B-LUR, was substantially damaged when it impacted the water under unknown circumstances near Tolo Harbour, Tai Po, Hong Kong. The pilot, who was the sole occupant of the aircraft, sustained fatal injuries.
