Accident Details
On March 31, 2016, at approximately 1200 coordinated universal time (UTC), a Cessna 172 airplane, Spanish registration EC-JSM, collided with terrain following a bird strike near Madrid, Spain. The collision resulted in fatal injuries to the pilot and two passengers, and the airplane sustained substantial damage.
