What happened
On May 6, 2016, at approximately 1625 UTC, a RANS S-12, registration D-MOHA, was involved in a fatal accident near Wiener Neustadt, Austria. The aircraft was performing an initial climb from Loan Airport when it experienced a loss of control. The aircraft subsequently impacted the terrain, resulting in the destruction of the plane. There were 2 fatal injuries involving the pilot and the passenger.
