Fatal Air Tractor AT-301 Crash Near Rocanville, Saskatchewan

Incident Overview On July 8, 2016, at approximately 2359 Coordinated Universal Time, an Air Tractor AT-301 aircraft with registration C-GCYV struck terrain while performing low-level maneuvers near Rocanville, Saskatchewan, Canada. The pilot sustained fatal injuries in the accident. The Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) is leading the investigation into the incident. As the state of manufacture for the aircraft, the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has appointed a U.S. accredited representative to support the TSB's investigative efforts.
