Accident Details
On August 27, 2016, at 1047 local time, an XtremeAir XA-42, registration N344XA, operated by Southern Aircraft Consultancy Inc., collided with the ground during an aerobatic maneuver at an airshow near the Zhangye Ganzhou Airport, China. The airplane was operating under the pertinent civil regulations for the government of China.
Damage and Injuries
The airplane was substantially damaged. The pilot, the sole occupant, was fatally injured.
