What happened
On September 1, 2016, at approximately 1905 UTC, an Air Tractor AT-502B, registered as PR-SLV, crashed near the Sorriso Municipality in the state of Mato Grosso, Brazil. The aircraft was being operated by Argino Bedin for a local flight, for which no flight plan had been filed.
During the flight, the aircraft experienced an in-flight loss of control and struck the terrain. The impact and a subsequent post-crash fire destroyed the airplane. The flight involved two occupants, and both the pilot and the passenger sustained 2 fatal injuries.
