What happened
On September 30, 2016, at approximately 1705 UTC, a Cessna 208B, registration HK3804, crashed into high terrain near San Antonio De Prado, Colombia. The aircraft, operated by LLANERA DE AVIACION LTD, had departed from Medellin (SKMD) at approximately 1655, en route to Juradó (SKJU).
The impact caused substantial damage to the aircraft. The accident resulted in 4 fatal injuries, including one of the Colombian certificated pilots and three passengers. Additionally, there were 6 serious injuries involving the other pilot and five passengers, while one passenger remained uninjured.
