Accident Overview
On September 30, 2016, at 1705 coordinated universal time, a Cessna 208B aircraft with Colombian registration HK3804 was substantially damaged after impacting high terrain near San Antonio De Prado, Colombia. The flight was a domestic operation from Medellin (SKMD) to Juradó (SKJU), departing at approximately 1655 UTC.
Injuries and Damage
The accident resulted in fatal injuries to one of the two Colombian certificated pilots and three passengers. The other pilot and five passengers sustained serious injuries. One passenger was uninjured.
