Incident Overview
On October 23, 2016, at approximately 1030 coordinated universal time, a Robinson R44 helicopter, registered in Russia as RA-04347, was destroyed upon impact with terrain in the Baleisky district of eastern Siberia, Russia. The aircraft was en route from Zolotorechensk Airport to Jalal-Kadai Airport at the time of the accident.
Fatalities
The helicopter's pilot and two passengers sustained fatal injuries in the crash.
