Incident Notification
On November 9, 2016, an incident occurred involving a Boeing 737-476 aircraft, as reported by the Colombia Civil Aviation Authority (CCAA) to the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) of the United States.
Investigation Participation
In accordance with the provisions of ICAO Annex 13, which designates the NTSB as the State of Manufacturer and Design of the airplane and its engines, the NTSB appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the CCAA in its investigation.
Information Release
The CCAA is the authority responsible for releasing all investigative information regarding this incident. Further details are expected to be provided by the CCAA as the investigation progresses.
