Accident Notification

On December 20, 2016, an accident involving a Boeing 727 airplane occurred in Colombia. The Accident Investigation Group (AIG) of Colombia notified the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) of the event.

International Investigation

In accordance with the provisions of ICAO Annex 13, the NTSB appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the AIG of Colombia's investigation, as the United States is the State of Manufacturer and Design of the airplane.

Information Release

The AIG of Colombia will be responsible for releasing all investigative information pertaining to this accident.
