Incident Overview
A pilot reported that during the approach phase of a flight, a goose struck the airplane's left horizontal stabilizer. Despite the impact, the pilot continued the approach and successfully landed the aircraft without any further incident.
Damage Assessment
A post-accident examination of the aircraft revealed that the left horizontal stabilizer had sustained substantial damage as a result of the bird strike.
