What happened
On August 22, 2017, at 10:25 UTC, an Aviat Pitts S-2B, registered as LN-PTS, was performing aerobatic maneuvers near Holmestrand, Norway. The flight had departed from Sandefjord Airport Torp (ENTO). During the maneuvers, the aircraft experienced a loss of control and impacted the terrain. The accident resulted in 2 fatal injuries for the pilot and passenger. The aircraft was destroyed by the forces of the impact.
