Accident Details
On August 22, 2017, at 1025 hours universal coordinated time, an Aviat Pitts S-2B, registered as LN-PTS, impacted terrain following a loss of control while performing aerobatic maneuvers near Holmestrand, Norway. The local flight had departed from Sandefjord Airport Torp (ENTO), Norway.
Occupant Injuries
The pilot and passenger were fatally injured. The airplane was destroyed by impact forces.
