Accident Details
On November 15, 2017, at about 0805 coordinated universal time, a Cessna 208B aircraft, bearing Tanzanian registration 5H-EGG and operated by Coastal Aviation LTD., sustained substantial damage when it impacted terrain near Ngorongoro, Tanzania. The aircraft was on a passenger flight from Kilimanjaro International Airport (HTKJ) in Hai District to Seronera Airstrip (HTSN) in Serengeti National Park.
Fatalities
The pilot and 10 passengers on board were fatally injured in the accident.
