What happened
On November 15, 2017, at approximately 0805 UTC, a Cessna 208B, registration 5H-EGG, crashed near Ngorongly, Tanzania. The aircraft, operated by Coastal Aviation LTD., was performing a passenger flight from Kilimanjaro International Airport (HTKJ) to Seronera Airstrip (HTSN) in Serengeti National Park.
During the flight, the aircraft impacted terrain under IMC (instrument meteorological conditions). The accident resulted in 11 fatal injuries, involving the pilot and 10 passengers.
