Accident Details
On April 25, 2018, at 1814 local time, an experimental Wells StarJammar airplane, registration N49EW, crashed during a rehearsal flight for an aerobatic performance at ShangJie general aviation Airport, located in HeNan Province, People's Republic of China. The aircraft was operated under the pertinent civil regulations of the government of China.
Occupant and Damage
The owner/pilot, who was the sole occupant of the airplane, sustained fatal injuries. The airplane itself was substantially damaged in the accident.
