The government of Cuba notified the NTSB of an accident involving a Boeing 737-200, registration XA-UHZ, which took place on May 18, 2018, in Havana, Cuba. The accident resulted in 112 fatal injuries and 1 serious injury.
As the State of Manufacture, the NTSB has appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to support the investigation being conducted by the Cuban government under ICAO Annex 13 protocols. All investigative details will be released by the Cuban authorities.
