Accident Overview
On June 8, 2018, at approximately 0713 coordinated universal time, a Cessna 172S airplane, registration VH-EWE, impacted terrain approximately 1 kilometer from Moorabbin Airport in Moorabbin, Victoria, Australia. The pilot in command was fatally injured, and the airplane was destroyed.
