What happened
On June 27, 2018, at 17:13 CST, a Bell 205A helicopter, registration C-FYHD, performed a precautionary landing at Buckmayer Lake, Saskatchewan. The aircraft, operated by Transwest Air Ltd Partnership, was en route from an unspecified origin to Hudson Bay Airport (CYHB) in Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan, when the pilot encountered severe airframe vibrations.
The landing resulted in substantial damage to the aircraft. The pilot was not injured during the event.
