What happened
Following the occurrence of the accident, the government of Turkey notified the NTSB. Under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13, the NTSB appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the Turkish authorities with their investigation. All investigative details are to be released by the government of Turkey.
