The government of the Dominican Republic notified the NTSB of an accident involving a STEMME S12 glider, registration N612ST, which took place on August 19, 2018, in Santo Domingo Norte, Dominican Republic. The accident resulted in 2 fatalities.
Under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13, the NTSB appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the Dominican Republic's investigation. All investigative information is being released by the government of the Dominican Republic.
