Incident Overview
The pilot of a tailwheel-equipped airplane reported that the aircraft bounced and drifted to the left during a three-point landing. In response, the pilot applied right rudder to correct the leftward drift and aft pressure on the yoke to keep the tailwheel on the ground.
Sequence of Events
Despite the pilot's corrective actions, the left wing lifted, resulting in sideloading of the landing gear. The right main landing gear subsequently collapsed. The right wing then struck the ground, and the airplane came to rest on the runway.
Aircraft Damage
The airplane sustained substantial damage to the right wing spar.

According to the METAR report for the airport, the wind around the time of the accident was from 300 degrees at 7 knots. The airplane was landing on runway 34.

The pilot stated that there were no mechanical malfunctions or failures with the airplane that would have precluded normal operation.
