Accident
On October 14, 2018, about 1345 coordinated universal time, a Cessna F172N, registration D-EFJX, experienced a runway excursion during landing. The event resulted in three fatalities on the ground.
Investigation
The German Federal Bureau of Aircraft Accident Investigation (BFU) has jurisdiction over the investigation. In accordance with Annex 13 of the Convention on International Civil Aviation, the United States, as the State of Design, has appointed an accredited representative to participate in the inquiry.
