Incident Notification
The Federal Air Transport Agency (MAK) of Russia formally notified the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) regarding an aviation accident. The incident involved a Sukhoi RRJ95 aircraft and occurred on May 05, 2019.
International Cooperation
In accordance with the provisions of ICAO Annex 13, the NTSB assumed its role as the State of Manufacturer for the aircraft. Consequently, the U.S. authority appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the MAK in conducting the investigation.
