On July 14, 2019, an accident occurred in Umea, Sweden, involving an AIRvan GA8, registration SE-MES. The accident resulted in 9 fatalities.
Under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13, the government of Sweden is conducting the investigation. The NTSB has appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the Swedish authorities in their inquiry. All official investigative information will be released by the Swedish government.
