What happened
On July 26, 2019, at approximately 11:00 Pacific daylight time, a Cessna 208 operated by Seair Seaplanes Ltd. crashed into terrain near Addenbroke Island, British Columbia. The aircraft, registration C-GURL, had departed from Vancouver International Water Airport (CAM9) and was en route to a remote lodge located roughly 29 nautical miles southeast of Campbell Island Airport (CBBC).
The accident resulted in 4 fatal injuries and 5 serious injuries among the pilot and passengers.
