What happened
On August 25, 2024, a serious incident involving an AK1-3 helicopter, registration SP-HLLI, took place. The investigation, identified by case number 2024-0070, was initiated by the State Commission on Aircraft Accident Investigation (PKBWL) following the event.
The investigation
The PKBWL investigative team is currently conducting an active inquiry to determine the causes and circumstances of the occurrence. As part of the ongoing investigation, the team has performed several investigative actions, including:
- Photographic documentation of the site and aircraft
- Interviews with participants involved in the incident
- Analysis of technical documentation
- Review of crew records and documentation
- Examination of meteorological conditions on the day of the event
- Consultations with the helicopter manufacturer and the aviation authority of the manufacturer's country
The investigation remains ongoing, and the commission will provide detailed findings in a Final Report once all investigative activities are concluded.
