What happened
On October 26, 2024, a serious incident occurred involving an Extra NG 2021 aircraft, registration SP-HMM. The investigation into the event is currently being conducted by the Polish State Commission on Aircraft Accident Investigation (PKBWL).
The investigation
The PKBWL is currently in the process of conducting its investigation into the occurrence. As part of the investigative procedure, the Commission is awaiting the delivery of an internal manufacturer's report from EXTRA Flugzeugproduktions- und Vertriebs- GmbH. This report is being provided by the German Federal Bureau of Aircraft Accident Investigation (BFU). Once this technical documentation is received and reviewed, the Commission will determine whether to conclude the investigation and release its final findings to the public.
