What happened

On September 17, 2025, at approximately 17:42 Pacific daylight time, a Cessna 750, registration N769XJ, was involved in an accident during a takeoff roll at San Diego International Airport (SAN) in San Diego, California. The aircraft was operating as a Part 135 commuter flight.

The pilot reported feeling intense vibrations originating from the nosewheel as the aircraft accelerated through 100 knots. In response to the vibration, the pilot elected to abort the takeoff. During the aborted takeoff sequence, the nose landing gear collapsed, causing the nose of the aircraft to settle onto the runway.

Following the stop, the crew performed an emergency shutdown. All occupants, consisting of two pilots and four passengers, were not injured and evacuated the aircraft safely. The aircraft sustained substantial damage to the fuselage.
